Dj CrushDelight (Aka Anand Parmar) got his start in 1995 mixing hip-hop, house, techno, and Down Tempo. Now as a turntablist and synthesis artist he works in several ensembles in his home town of Sacramento, California.
His skills can be found on music by Compadre, released on Front Line Records, and Sacramento underground-artists Hysterisis Loop and Urban Jazz Session. For the last three years, he has helped with hosting and producing Sacramento's Original Urban Jazz Workshop, a weekly gathering of artists and musicians.
Also a producer, he has released a 12inch single with Project Blowed Dj Drez called Instrumental sessions Vol 1, and a Down Tempo album on Lunatic Works under the name 2am. He has opened up for Quest Love, Mos Def, Dj Jazzy Jeff, Z-Trip, Aceyalone, D-styles, Awol
one, Guru Of Gang Starr and many more.
